Resumen:
The document shows an administrative management model to establish cocoa
industrialization processes in Montalvo, Los Ríos province, for this purpose a
documentary-bibliographic study will be carried out, with the purpose of gathering
scientific information, to argue the theoretical bases of the variables of the object
of study, in the same way a diagnosis of the current situation was implemented
in a cocoa producing and marketing company, in which the strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and threats were analyzed, which allowed studying
the current state of the organization and administrative models that are used for
the development of administrative and operational processes, focused on the
industrialization of cocoa and external factors that can be used as alternatives to
establish a new development process that enhances economic and business
well-being. A field study was carried out, using the observation, survey and
interview techniques carried out in the selected company to verify the most
relevant aspects of the organization and the administrative systems that the
personnel in charge apply to achieve objectives and goals. Likewise, the cocoa
producing, marketing and exporting companies in the province of Los Ríos were
surveyed and the company manager was interviewed, in order to learn about the
administrative tools used in the producing company; and if there is a model that
serves as a mechanism for the management and handling of the control,
organization, direction and planning processes. With the results of the study, the
objectives of this thesis were achieved, which led to creating an administrative
management model, according to the needs of the agro-industry, which will
optimize the development of cocoa industrialization processes.
